WINDSOR LOCKS - Like many 10 year olds, Cora Mitchell wants a dog. But unlike many 10 year olds, Cora has a recommendation from her doctor to get one. Cora's mother, Ann Mitchell, is raising money to buy a 'balance dog' for the girl, who has cerebral palsy. Mitchell said Cora had a dog for years when the two lived in Pennsylvania. But when they came to Connecticut a year ago, they had to give the dog up.
